Thinking Forward: The Igor Larionov Story
There is an autobiography in the works entitled, at last check,
" Thinking Forward: The Igor Larionov Story." But there's
just one problem with the book, co-authored by Steve Kettman, a
former San Francisco Chronicle writer who knows Larionov from his
early NHL days in San Jose. And the problem is this: The story about
Larionov's hockey career isn't complete until the Russian centerman
is done playing. (LARIONOV RETIRED IN 2004) The book still remains
unpublished, waiting for Larionov to write its final chapter...

national team at two main ice hockey events of last decade: Olympic
Games in Nagano and in Salt Lake City. About "Russian Rocket",
his career and his life, we talked with Pavel and his relatives,
as well as with the best Russian and American ice hockey players
and coaches: Viktor Tikhonov, Vyacheslav Fetisov, Mike Keenen, Denis

Russian Hockey Tour of Canada (2004) documentary
Russian Hockey Tour of Canada (2004) documentary from Rink Rat TV.
The documentary was a behind the scenes of putting together a tour
with a team from Russia. This was supposed to air in February or
March 2005, but since the season was cancelled there was no programming
available. I wonder if this is still in the works?....

Russian touring team games
I am always looking for Russian touring team games on vhs or dvd.
I have some in my collection and I am only willing to trade them
for other tour games (sorry none are for sale). I would love to
get the Russian Penguins 1994 tour games against the IHL.
1999 Russian’s Under-17 squad vs Canada’s Newmarket
87s
Ilya’s intensity sometimes got the best of him. As a teenager,
he earned a spot on Russian’s Under-17 squad. In a game against
Canada’s Newmarket 87s, he intentionally crashed elbows-first
into the opposing bench and then cross-checked goalie Jason Hooper.
Newmarket’s players had seen enough, and a huge brawl ensued.
